Atleast you have it a shot.
Beats having to work or do chores around the house.

Re: going out saturday in the boat
was flat but hit a log at 70km, heard the thump an freinds inlaws wanted to see what it was so went back seen a stump 1 ft by 1ft so it was get back in to find no damage on the boat or props, was a good day but not much real action, the freinds inlaws where out of there element as they hate the bay since they tent to go off shore an there really was nothing worth it in the bay. but undersize stuff loved the pillys an whiting that was soaked in tuna oil then drained an salted

Re: going out saturday in the boat
Sorry about the late reply, it was a good ride along the coast, no more then about 20minutes.. Stuck with the plan, found a few good size flatties early 7-8m between StKilda & Sandringham, couldn't find the squid.. Battled with a few Eagle Rays, Banjo's, etc.. out a bit deeper (13-15m), nothing worth noting.. Came into the shallows towards Sunset, drifted along with a heavy burley trail until i found the pinkies - or they found me.. Good fun till after dark, took a few back for a feed (30-35cm) and called it a night..
