Help: Fishing Rod to suit Shimano Stradic FK 4000
Help: Fishing Rod to suit Shimano Stradic FK 4000
Hi Guys,
I have received Shimano Stradic FK 4000 reel as a present :super:
I need some advice regarding a fishing rod that will suit this reel.
I'm looking for a rod that will suit both bait fishing off pier/beach and Lure fishing.
Im not sure if there is one for these purposes, but all advice on this would be appreciated!
Thanks In advance

Go too 2 or 3 local tackle shops and take the reel with you. Ask staff for assistance in selecting rod, you need to know what you want - Line Breaking Strain / Line you want to use - Braid, Mono Etc. as well as the type of fishing you want to use it for, Bait / Spin / Troll etc. Ask if you can attach the reel so that you can ascertain what it "Feels like". If they will not, walk out.

How much do you want to spend ? Personally I like the shimano catana range, price isn't over the top and they are a good quality range of rods.
He who has the most fishing rods WINS !

I'm happy to spend up to $170 which is what bcf have the daiwa generation black on offer for till 29/03. But cheaper would be great, I'll certainly consider the Catana range. I'll be getting a rod this weekend so I'll keep browsing and hear all advicehornet wrote:How much do you want to spend ?
