If you fish closed waters that aren’t too far to travel over water there is seriously no better fishing craft imo. I own one and absolutely love it. But has some limitations regarding where it can be used
Hi mate. What brand do you have? I don't know anyone who has one so am not sure which is a good one or not. Could you get an OK one for a few hundred bucks or do you need to spend a bit more? Hate to buy a rubbish one and waste my money for the sake of waiting and saving a bit more.
Would appreciate any info at all on them.

This is mine and it’s absolutely awesome.

I use a pair of smaller swim style fins. A mate uses snorkelling style fins. He is faster but my fins don’t smash your ankles up.

They are the best snag fishing vessel you can buy imo. Including slayers/other yaks with reverse. As soon as you hook up you can really put the hurt on the fish by kicking back at the same time as pumping and winding.

Here’s one of the fish I pulled out of a very snaggy waterway. We bought the tubes specifically to fish this location. Was one of the best investments I made at around $265 delivered.

Landbased all the way - it's incredibly satisfying finding your own spots and developing your own techniques landbased. Having said that, I may be looking at a kayak in future, but it will never replaced LB fishing for me.

Boat is good because you can actually catch fish

LB is good because you can get drunk

Both have their perks

Hi Guys,

Land base here.

I love it when I see boats get as close as they can to rock ledges and reefs close to the land.
