Oh 2 of the definitely longer than 46cm but not sure how to fillet them so decided just to throw back. I thought gummy only can be caught at night?

Small / just size gummys are not really worth the effort with the cleanig required.
Only teally worth it when they get up around 4 to 5kg mark at 1mt i think.

Gummys are caught all the time.
The bigger mainly come out night.
I always pull small ones during the day and the odd big one over 1 mt.

Shrink the file size of the images you want to upload. There’s websites, apps etc that can do it

i just copy the pic into windows live gallery the right click on pic and choose resize

Good work on getting a few fish. Gummies have to be 45 cm from rear most gill slit to base of the tail. So that makes a size gummy about 70cm overall. I would still keep a just size gummy if you have nothing else in the esky. They aren’t that bad to clean plus practice makes perfect. Gummy is great on the chew
