Looks like the Wonboyn lake entrance in the middle distance. Worth a look in on your way back?

Youre dead right it is. I would have checked it out had I not booked a cabin in lake tyers tonight. Rookie mistake by me. It looks amazing.

Back in tyers now oh and surprise! Storm warning for east Gippsland with gale force winds... lovely lol

WELL talking to the guy at the pub, there are no prawns in lake tyers due to the entrance not opening last year and the only place to get them is just inside lakes entrance bar (which I'm going nowhere near at night with this wind)

What a disaster...

I'm gonna call it a trip after tonight I think. Pretty disappointed with my decision to come back to lake tyers tonight. Definitely should have fished wonboyn today then back sharking in Eden tomorrow (which is suppose to be glass)

If for some reason the weather changes dramatically I might sneak out the lakes bar and see if I can get some pinkies or a gummy

Even though the fishing has been a tad disappointing (mainly because I'm a stubborn bait fisho, had I been more open to lures I probably would have done much better) overall it's been an awesome trip. Next time I'll put a bit of research into it instead of just winging it (even though randomly swagging it was good fun)

Thanks you guys for reading and giving me some great advice along the way!

EDIT: LESS THAN 10 KNOT WESTERLY TOMORROW AT LAKES IM GOING FISHING YEW YEW YEW YEWWS

Thanks mate, enjoyed your comments!

A bronzie behind the 90mile breakers would really top this trip right off! But I'm just happy I get another days fishing with good weather (touchwood)

That there is a pic of one of my all-time favorite fishing spots. Great photo.

The wonboyn pic??

Amazing place. If i weren't such an on the move idiot I would have taken more time to explore these places. I missed bemm and conran as well that i will definitely take the time to visit next time. Oh well back to reality after tomorrow lakes fish, need to get some chores done around the house anyway :(

Also that pic of wonboyn doesn't do justice to the rough conditions out there... it was absolutely wild.

Yeah i know mate :(
If I had my time again I'd definitely skip tyers and go straight to bemm > tamboon > mallacoota > eden/wonboyn and try to spend more than a night at each

Education for next time :)
