Oh well it goes on to fight another day, I'll just have to catch another one. (I was pretty good at predicting the bite on the slimy though wasn't I haha)
Yea mate you picked that very well. Spot on. Pity that would have been a lot of flake but now gives you an opportunity to catch another one  you got plenty of fresh bait left? :)
Getting a bit low, got half a tailor left, some salmon fillets and a few very small slimies. Might have to do another quick bait run get some more.

Yea a quick bait run sounds good. You know where you can get some fast?
Yeah only took me an hour or so to get a few tailor, salmon, trevally etc. not too far from the jetty. The slimys are a little bit of mucking around and unless they are a really good size (20cm+) then they aren't really an ideal toothy bait. Great size for snapper though

Fresh bait is always best

Unfortunately I'm led to believe it's a scallop head hammerhead which are prohibited to keep. So no flake for me tonight... yet :)
Well done mate
How long it take to get that one in?
15 mins to get it boat side, a further 15 mins for my dopey self to realize my net was too small

Besides the first sizzling run it really didn't do too much tbh

They are actually quite good to eat. Don’t know how big that one is though.
Still no luck with the salmon or tailor?

Just cut around the head and gills like you do snapper and then fillet.
