Where to find pipis near Narrawong/Portland?

Hi I'm staying in narrawong for a few days and thought it might be fun to dig up my own pipis as I've never had the opportunity before since there are none close to melbourne. Guy at fishing shop told me to try shelly beach on the way to cape bridgewater. To say this was disappointing is an understatement, firstly it was nearly impossible to get access to the beach since stairs had been demolished. When I finally got down to the beach the pipis were tiny. Is there anywhere else around here?

The tackle shop owner was right you need to head more towards bridgewater to find decent ones, I cant tell you exactly where but I have never seen any at Narrawong
