I'd be bring a deckie along too.
What boat will you be using?

By mid March the Marlin are generally leaving or left Bermagui, it all depends on currents, but Easter tournament was always about the Yellowfin when I fished there.

I chose that time cos the last 3 years Nude up and tuna tube both catch and release multiple marlin.

I think from memory there record is like 6 in 1day.

I dont have the gear to tackle marlin and don't really plan to spend thousands on tiagras and **** ill use once in a lifetime

Are we planning on just having 1 rod out each and whatever rod gets hit is the lucky dude reeling it in?

I might have to borrow a rod/reel for the day off someone if they don't mind otherwise I'll have to bow out and just bottom bash on my lonesomeol

I have some game gear and we can all take turms using it
If trilling for marlin plan to use 4 to 5 rods and if live baiting go down to 2 or 3.

We always go around the new moon late feb early March we have done for the last 7 years, we have always caught marlin, in that time I have seen only 1 yellowfin tuna landed and it came from way out.
