Time to start playing nice fellas and keep abusive and negative comments to yourselves, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Yes, 20 minutes on 50 pound line, and a strong rod, suitable for that type of fishing, but if you hooked it on 6 pound line and a 2-4kg rod, it would take a long time, actually you would probably never even get the fish in.

Keep in mind, that I didn’t try my hardest do get him in, I played around with him taking my time, letting him run when he needs to. If you don’t believe me, then try hooking the same fish I lost, on 6 pound line, you would rush him in and your fight will last 5 minutes, because you will get snapped off, or you just don’t enjoy the thrill of fishing.

I’m not saying that it is impossible to get him under 20 mins on the gear I had, it is very possible. I myself didn’t really care about getting the fish in, I cared about the action, excitement and thrill I had while fighting a fish of that size.

Enough, you've been warned. Next I think you'll both take a leave of absence for a while.

I don't come home from work to sit here and read a cpl of ADULTS acting like little kids over a friggen carp, that was never landed. I (and the other mods) have more to worry about than looking after spoilt little brats throwing a tantrum on the internet.

Have you seen some of your unprovoked shots against members in the past Brett? Just asking. Think before you act.
