Shrimp

Post by TheLoneTurtle » Tue Dec 26, 2017 5:01 pm

So I am headed down to McLennans Strait, and I am waking up at 3:00am to leave. Last time my friend gave me some live shrimp to use, I am wondering if beef liver is good for catching shrimp with a bait trap?

Cheers in advance and I will tell you all how I go tomorrow night when I arrive back home :a_goodjob:

Bit of old ham and salami with cheese works for me...

I'd be very interested to hear how you go. What sort of bait-traps would you use?

In the gippy lakes are they shrimp, or juvenile prawns that you'd be catching?

I heard that plain old-fashioned tallow soap was also a good bait for shrimp...

Cheers,

Mike.
