If you are a dedicated lure fisho then decent braid lays better, casts further and last longer. If you are a bait fisho, you aren't casting as much, dont need the distance, and not abrading it the same so cheap braid is fine for that.
one issue with cheap lighter weights of braid is increased wind knots, especially if casting very light lures.
