Was anyone else getting really excited?

Post by Kimtown » Thu Oct 05, 2017 12:25 pm

For the conditions Saturday until recently? Willyweather was saying 2km/h winds at Corinella for the best part of the day, which just recently got downgraded to 25-30km/h for the majority of the day now :(

Looks like no fishing for me :(

Ditch Willy, it's a piece of garbage.
If I'd used it Sunday I would have been 1Hr on tide change in WP & possibly ended up in the mud.
Willy is notorious for getting tide & wind wrong :-(
Saturday doesn't look too Bad if you're going out in the morning in a boat or arvo (& it may actually be less). Would be nice if under 10Kt but Still fishable

Same here buddy, been watching winds all week for western port on BOM and sea breeze. To see the winds change so quick is a bummer

I also don't trust willyweather. Will keep an eye out on the winds and go from there.

What's the best site to use?

Heading out tonight instead, conditions should be alright, just cold :(

Fishranger is easily the best site I have used. There's an app for it as well
