What is the purpose of these masks

I've got a winter one with a thicker neck collar & a thinner one for summer. Keeps you warm in winter and in summer keeps UV & flies off you. To stop fogging just put your sunnies over it so it's a tight fit & no dramas.
I don't bother with the Loser faces printed on them (Fishos have a bad enough rep with littering, fishing lines, hooks carelessly dumped, Rays being dumped etc).

Echoing what others have said, I find that they're great for keeping the sun off my face and staying a bit warmer when it's cold.

The only downside is that the mask makes it a little harder to breath when I'm paddling the yak which gets a bit annoying

I started seeing them around the time we had a push to remove the Burka. I wonder if you can walk in an airport like this. My son inlaw wears one when riding his motor bike,i can't stand it.

A good buff is a godsend on both a hot and a cold day. It's one of those things that you'll knock until you use one.

I don't like ones with **** all over em but I'd still take one over nothing on a long summers day or a cold winter morning.

I got 5 for something like 5 bucks of the company in the add you posted.

I always wear one now. They keep the sun off, wind off and provide warmth in the cold. They have a massive range from plain colours, goofy faces to all sorts of styles.

I've handed them over to others who have come on the boat and I've never seen anyone take it off!
