Has anyone been out to Lake Aura Vale of late - just wondering if anyone had reports of how the reddies there are going at present

Re: Lake Aura Vale
Tried Aura Vale myself this afternoon.......hmmmmm
Many, many casts with SP's and Tassie Devils and zero fish to show for it.
Bank access was fair, although most areas have water lilies up to the bank and going out a few mtrs, so that made it hard for bringing lures back in.
Most of the paths along the bank were over grown and in some part difficult to even see where the path was.
Plenty signs of others having fished there but no signs of fish caught.
Think I'II be headed back to the Yarra in the next couple of days.

Re: Lake Aura Vale
I fished there for a long time. A couple of years ago reddies couldn't not eat a pink tassie devil or a little gold spinner. Access can be challenging but there are a couple of good areas.
Be aware if the (racing) kayaks are out. They can be quite aggressive and think they own the place.
red for carpark, green for accessable banks. You can get to the rest of the banks but I woudln't really describe them as accessable.
