Not good news at all, very sad day.. really feel for the families concerned.. RIP..

It's the risk you take. Never good, but he could've been killed driving to the pier, atleast he was doing something he loved at the time

RIP mate. Did we ever find out what happened to lead to this tragic drowning?
Did a rogue wave knock him off the pier?

from wht i heard, he tripped fell and hit his head and went into the drink.
sad that the mates couldnt get hold of him to rescue him.
theres a gofundme page setup for his young family of partner and 2 year old son so they can have a decent christmas in the wake of this tradgedy.
