Wyndham Harbour Ferry & parking
As you probably know, the ferry from Wyndham Harbour to the city, started yesterday.
Don't know what the parking was like yesterday, but I can tell you, they had NO passengers today.
Therefore there is no problems, with parking in the area, to go fishing.
My guess-- no ferry by the end of the month.(unless it's government subsided)
Cheers

Interesting they had no passengers, would have thought it would be quite popular.

Ouch!!
Looks like a big loss coming to that businessman owner. @ $20 per trip its not cheap when the train costs $12 for unlimited travel on the day.

Its interesting because I'm one of those people that will take the non express train which takes longer so I can get a seat. Would have thought south the traffic conditions and the fact that people are packed like sardines on the Werribee line that more people would try the service.

There are people who will happily pay good money so they aren't stuck on a train full of poor people though. The drive from Werribee would take close to an hour in peak hour and with parking in the city costing $20 or so for the day, maybe it isn't as outrageous as it seems.

Quite a few car parks in the city have early bird rates at $10 (in by 9 and out by 5) actually....4liters wrote:There are people who will happily pay good money so they aren't stuck on a train full of poor people though. And I wouldn't be calling everyone who catches the train "poor"...
