That's definitely worth considering if you have never fished on a boat before.

Hey Buckle, no hiring would not be as much fun as being with someone who knows how to boat fish.

True in that sence I understand when I hired a boat I had no idea where to go or what to do pretty sure I just caught flathead and undersized pinkies lol Was still fun tho.Elly27 wrote:Hey Buckle, no hiring would not be as much fun as being with someone who knows how to boat fish.
But if you want to produce fish in the first go then yeah guess go with somebody.
Unfortunatly i don't take strangers so I won't be offering. But hopefully someone is willing to take you out for your sake. Good luck with it mate.

Re: Looking for Fishing Buddy who has a Boat!
Haha sure do. It's brutally cold and rough sometimes. Have waves coming over the bow, in freezing conditions mid winter, at 4am, pitch black. It tests your resolve sometimes. My old man even bought a rain jacket with a battery powered heater in it but was still cold to the bone. I'm a big snow sports fan too, so I guess I don't worry about the cold that much, but it can be pretty harsh in a 20knt southerly at 4am in the middle of winter in a tinny. I still love it.Lightningx wrote:Sounds like you make good use of your boat even in winter do you take it out at least once a week?

a lot of boats get used here a lot more often in winter than summer
