I like to research on the internet and youtube too, I have seen a person cutting the pilchard in half and hooking it sideways. Does that seem presentable?

Fish don't give a toss what the bait looks like, if they're hungry they'll eat it.

After 65 pages here and all this other research you have done, yet you still can't catch a fish and still need advice

Like this if you cut them:

No the hook started from the left side and finished at the right, picture it being horizontal

That will still catch fish.

Fishing is 90% time and place.

Rule #1 go fishing lots and lots until you work out the right time and the right place.

Rule #2 get your bait, SP, Lure ect to the fish.

Given the comments about line weights use light line braid 20lb with 1m 15lb mono leader.

Super tip no 1# try n.keep the moon behind you.

Similar to bowl I keep sun over the left shoulder when casting through the day, always behind me as well

Something smells fishy here i reckon!!

1. As Brett said, after 65 pages of helps and still no fish to show - Bloody basket case IMHO; or

2. We are all have been taken the **** off and taken for a ride (gut feelings we are!) - hope that i am wrong here because if it is the case, then it will leave a bad tastes in everyone mouth and will turn off a lot of people providing helps for future novices; or

PS: Elly27 - effed the location this and location that because fishes are everyone in PPB top to bottom!!! .. all you need is a hook (with baits on it) tied to a fishing line and you will catch fishes .. in the olden days they used just that (commonly referred to as a handline) but modern method suggest you have a rod and reel but principle is the same - fishes eats the baits present, will get hooked in the mouth and your job is to pull it in!

Oh mate! I think utube fishing would be your best option. Said in the nicest way possible of course. Ha.
