You got to get into a bit more fishing ELLEY27, there are a good variety of fish to be caught out there, you don't relay need to be boating to catch them.

Yes but being on a boat sounds more exciting, to be able to move around where you like. I am doing many different fishing trips to expand my knowledge.

Have you gone on a boat?

Guys, I have a question but please do not laugh at me haha.

I went to a Fish market and bought Salmon from there. Can I use it as bait? It is the one which is attached to the skin still.

I also bought the red prawns which are edible if you take the skin off, is that okay for bait?

Remember keep a straight face ^_^

I think he means whole salmon not cleaned, also pre-cooked red prawns may not be as effective as raw prawn...

Hey Elly27,

The pre-cooked red prawns are terrible at bait and are even worse for keeping on the hook, please make sure you are purchasing product of australia ones as the cheaper asian ones may introduce a virus into our waterways that can affect the local prawn population.

I will send you it when I have time to take a picture. Basically there is the pink salmon meat attached to the inside skin. I would need to cut it off the skin to use it.
