Who's braving the weekend heat to fish?

Post by ChrisD » Fri Dec 18, 2015 11:02 am

Looks like we are in for a hot one this weekend - and barometer is riding fairly stable at around 1010 to 1015 mark.
So who's braving the heat to get out and give it a crack?
I'm hoping to be on the Patterson for the evening run in tide tomorrow. Not much shade but figure I can always stand in the water and fish to help keep cool. Plenty of slip, slop, slap as well to avoid any sunburn.

Went out on PPB Tue, caught nothing to inspire me to go back out in the wind and heat.

We were gonna go up the river tomorrow for the night, but with 42deg & a bit of wind forecast to be around have pulled the pin on it.

Don't fancy being 10k into the barmah national park (jungle) in them conditions.

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
