I want out last night for a pre-fish at a chosen spot and confirmed I can catch soldier fish (hate those things!!) and small bream :/

I'm changing strategy and chasing mystery length :)

Tried the Nine Mile Creek this evening! One carp around 15 cm's! Problems with yabbies biting. I have no idea where I am going on Sunday! :(

Just rigged up my hardbodies and plastics rods and packed the lures :) Only going to fish the run-in and run and gun three, possibly four local spots and see if I can get onto a decent bream.

Don't have the opportunity to fish all day so figured I'd maximise my chances by hitting favourite spots in good conditions with my most productive techniques and hope one or more of them pays off !

Good luck to everyone having a crack tomorrow. Tight lines :)

I am heading off to the Nine Mile Creek at Wunghnu chasing carp. Not sure if it is a good idea as I may have difficulty with yabbies pinching bait. Just can't be bothered sitting out in the sun on a channel bank all day! Good luck everyone.
cheers

Anyone having any luck? I picked up a 44cm yella at Eppalock this morning but it managed to flip out of the kayak when I had it on the brag mat before I could take a photo [emoji29]. Heading to Bridgewater now to see if I can get another.

Donut for me - at home now. Reminds me why I rarely fish the day lol. Was plagued with micro-bream hitting my plastic initially. Thought all these hits were a good sign until I saw a few that followed to my feet :/ saw a beast of a bream mooching on one of the ladders but couldn't tempt it so packed up and hit the Nong ...... But collected a fishing partner on the way ....

He's normally pretty good but don't think he could take the pressure of competition lol and had a bit of a meltdown after ten mins so figured that was my day done :)

Really bad luck on the yellowbelly! That's got to sting :(
