With a nice run in tide in the arvo and a light ssw wind forecast i couldn't resist the urge to try the ting
At the ramp around 2pm and the ramp was pretty quiet
Looked out and saw the area known as bourke st was exactly that
After launching went out to a 6m area to try for squid for bait and got a couple in 5mins but no more after 5 more drifts
Tried a couple of patches for ting from 3pm but donuts motored around for a while look for better bottom and found a nice sand hole prob around 20-30m big and dropped the anchor
Was quiet for about 15mins then a rod buckled over, yea first ting and then it picked up and the bites got more frequent to the point i had to fish only one rod and ended up with a full bag of big fat fish also released 5-6 smaller ones around 30cm,which was in around an hour and a quarter
Pulled up anchor around 5.30pm and back to a quiet ramp

Great day there Fishnut, and I like the portable cleaning table  . Very handy and they just fold away, never seen one in action, it seems a treat, perfect.

Bagging out is impressive Mr nut , , , , BUT the real impressive part is that you backed yourself , , , , knowing what to do and backing what you know, not just following the crowd , , , , most often you reap the benefits and also hone in your knowledge too :a_goodjob:

Cheers, Bugz
