Ah well, cant complain, we have had an outstanding season. Fisheries are predicting the next couple of years in PPB to be a bit slower due to poor recruitment, havent heard about WPB, but I would assume it would be the same.denis barden wrote:None at St Leonards at the moment Water temp is 11.5C

A big 45cm King George Whiting I caught last saturday pier fishing on the Mornington Peninsula using a patanosta rig. Even though it was bucketing down with rain, catching my biggest ever whiting, definitely made up for the poor weather.

ok so me and dad are going out into port Phillip bay for the first time and wondering where the most productive whiting/ squid grounds are white tide and time, any gps marks will happily be accepted in exchange for some westernport marks. thankyou :water:
