Re: Whiting Essentials
Try some Twitching Nippers for whiting , flats at high tide with patches of weed are a great place to try and when the tide starts to receed if you find gutters they are the areas to target as the whiting head back off the flats

Whiting Essentials
Same tides as usual (either side of high tide) and advice on types of plastics has been great. Try for shallower gutters and edges. Sand worm profiled plastics work well but a slow retrieve and pause is important so they look as natural as possible. I would also advise using some scent. Small hard bodied, whitebait profile lures also work. You're has a good one but I can't remember the name.
Good luck!

You're = Yozuri... Sorry about that and the plastic nippers, as suggested, work well also (small sizes)...

Re: Whiting Essentials
Thanks guys.
Appreciate the info.
Im pretty confident i can catch one in a plastic. Just need to work on spots and tides etc.
Reason i was asking for general spots is cause i need to find areas that don't flow too hard or the plastic will never make it to the bottom.
Ive got enough of plastics to try. But need to get some nipper style plastics.
Cheers

Not sure how far you are from WPB but I'd try cruising slowly along here with the electric motor:
Corinella would be the nearest ramp unless you can launch from the ramp at Coronet Bay

Steve I've got a couple packs of those storm nippers if you're looking for some. Was going to sell them on fb but never got around to it

Not that far but if rather ppb due to tidal flow at this stage
