I heard that earth worm work very well for whitings, anyone tried?

If you give it a go, let us know. I would be more inclined to use them in estuaries where they might regularly wash in. I would imagine they would be a pain to keep fresh in salt water. I usually just stick to squid/pippie/mussel. They seem to be succesful enough to not fork out for the live saltwater worms.

I'd be keen to learn to pump bass yabbies though.

Fished Leonards a fortnight ago and managed 17 nice whiting. Can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit to go and chase some gummies. Dennis do u catch many snapper out of Leonards? Never really heard much however I've heard you can get them around the red stick near the pier and out deep past the white lady.

No worries mate. I know a great spot I usually go for them as well. Will have to see if they are around. Slightly early though but might give it a go soon.
