Black Magic Whiting Snatcher

Post by Trumpeter » Thu Apr 21, 2016 12:15 am

I've been pretty impressed with their KL hooks so thought I'd give the Snatchers a try on the w/end. I think tipping them with a small strip of Pillie fillet will work well. If you've used them before, how did you go?

Used them and caught lots of different things with them including ting, flathead, yakkas, trevally, pike, pinkies, salmon and a baby gummy. Sometimes the knots are a bit dodgy so you have to check them.

Where as the whiting wackers (running rig style) are crap the knots consistently bad and I would stay away from that product.

Thanks fellas that's great, I did notice the knots where the droppers are tied looked a little odd, I gave them a bit of a pull test and they seem ok. I'm not interested in the running whackers as I've been getting a little bit better hook up rate lately with circle hooks when used on Paternoster rigs.
