Not cheap so it's good when I get a nice feed of fish. Doesn't seem so bad when you realise your bag of whiting would set you back $32/kg if you bought it from a shop.
Wheres this magical $32/kg whiting, seen it for around $65-70 at the moment!!!!

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad

Yeah, I've only seen whole whiting in the shop and it was $32/kg so it wouldn't surprise me if decent fillets were $70.

The session wasn't great, only 5 caught in total but thats fishing, sometimes u catch plenty and sometimes u don't even in the best of spots, but only criticism is at the first spot, things started to get better and they decided to try another spot, if i was driving i wouldn't change until action was totally gone.
however i think service wise they were good. one of my friends got sick and couldnt make it, so they didn't charge us. I was hoping for more based on what ive seen from previous trips. But did learn some new tips.

Sorry to hear that dude, I've noticed this season that they can be pretty hard to find. It's good once you get into a school, but can go hours without a bite looking for them.

On the plus side, those tips you picked up could prove invaluable. I'm actually planning on going on a whiting charter myself to try and Pick up some tips and increase my knowledge a bit for when were having a tough day

Maybe I need to do this with a snapper charter. Can't get a 50cm+ fish and it's getting a tad irritating.
