Westernport fishing charters whiting trip

Hi all, I've booked for myself and a few mates on Wednesday launching at 7am from Hastings mainly for king George whiting up to 5hrs, if anyone is interested there is a few spots left to fill. Just call them on 9769 5544.

Good luck mate, $85.00 is reasonable, as it costs sometimes even more to launch your own boat for a day on the water.

I think he is talking about fuel, etag, parking, etc. For those that don't live close to Melbourne, towing a boat 2+ hours each way, parking and etag can easily cost $80.

But yeah, that's why I live 5 mins from the ramp :P

$15 approx. Boat ramp fee
$ 20 for bait maybe
$24- 80 for fuel for the boat

Living close to the ramp, means you can launch, drive the trailer home, drop it off and the back to the ramp, no ramp fees.

I like charters as it means no need to wash the boat and motor later, they look after the bait, no need for a tow vehicle. sure the rods and reels may not be the best, but you can take your own, but becareful about using braid.
