Western port beach KG Whiting 18-10-2015
Hello everyone. Had a fish this morning 3am to 7am on a beach at WPB. High tide 5.15am, water conditions slightly choppy but not much wind Sth.Sth.W. Was quiet early then bang between 5-6am. 7 whiting 30-40cm. Also released 3 salmon 2 Taylor all around 21-23cm. My mate could only manage 1 salmon dropping a few whiting. Was awesome to get whiting this early in the season. Cheers till next time..

Nice catch, I've found the early trips a bit slow as well, must be the fish not waking up until 5am.
