Spearing flatties & flounder
Hey guys, Went out strolling with a spear over a few nights recently and had a little success. Caught most at lower tides either on flats, sand bars and at the start of drop offs. All between the Brighton/Hampton rocks and Sandringham. Thinking about pushing further south for the next trip. There's ...

Saturday I took my time knowing Ocean Grove boat ramp would be hectic at first light so I waited until 7:30am and put the boat in with no wait at all. I started trolling in 15m of...

Basically the bits marked in green. They are the shallow areas. You can walk across the footbridge to access the other side of the lake

There are prawns around but the water is very dirty . Pick a flood Tide and try areas close to the entrance.

Re: Lakes entrance - prawning / fishing
The less wind the better prawning.
Salmon fishing you want northwesterly and calm sea.
There has been salmon in the lake around Kalimna jetty. They are generally smaller in the lake
You have a chance for a kingfish around the highway bridge and the footbridge at this time of year
