I'm struggling to get breams on lures in Docklands The most reliable method has been drifting cranka crabs around structure, no matter what the conditions it has always caught me fish, I've found that a zman crusteaz rigged on the lightest possible jig head a...

Re: Fish stockings

I can't comment specifically on what the VFA does but having worked at hatcheries producing fish for stocking I can provide an insight into how the numbers are estimated. Biggest issue is that online surveys are self selecting (i.e. not random) so you’re going to get a bias...

First jump was with a working...

Yeah i get it, its funny. But this also proves my point about intention. You'd have to be trying to actually make that mistake.

Re: Soft Plastics Newbie

I’m not familiar with that specific rod but it sounds about right (as long as it’s light and fairly fast action) and 10lb braid is fine. Should match with a 2500 reel. If you use some 8-12lb mono leader and a 1/4oz plus (as light as the conditions will allow but still able to get a reasonable cast i...
