Re: An experiment

Needs a column for moonrise and moonset. We've been playing with the idea of moonrise for squid recently, would be an interesting variable to also consider.

Re: Strange hookups

I had a short finned pike tie itself in a half hitch after swinging at a Busted 75 and missing one day. Couldn't for the life of me figure out what i'd hooked, reeled it in and had the line tide around it's body about where the gills are, biting in slightly like a half hitch around a pillie tail.

Re: Fishing hacks

Nice find phil! This is actually a good opportunity to share different things you've done to make your fishing life easier. I'll offer a couple. I pre tie all of my rigs MINUS the sinkers and put them in individual sandwhich bags. This way they sit absolutely flat. I carry sinkers in a different lit...

Re: Rocks vs surf

I know you PM'd me but i'll put this up so everyone can see. The lake at Wonboyn is pretty difficult to fish. I've been down there a few times and never really caught anything. The Nullica river is sheltered from windy condiitions and full of flathead. Cam landed half a dozen of them there in about ...
