Plenty of squid
Went out this morning with my neighbour and an old mate of his. We left portarlington around 930 back by 12 we ended up with 21 some a really nice size 3 bait size which will be used tomorrow. We were surprised by how much the wind got up double the forecast.

Albert Park today
Mrs sent me to do grocery shopping, so I went fishing, haha. Went to Albert Park and fished for like 2.5 hrs (1:30-4pm), cloudy, rain, etc. I hooked 4 rainbow, landed two of them, dropped the other two. 1/16 jighead, zman grub, just slow rolling constant retrieve. Few nibbles from EPs, but no hookup...

Re: PPB - Aerial photos
Happy New Years mate! Great question, hopefully this answer helps! You're completely right about google maps often lacking in the PPB coastline photos, often this is either cause by lower resolution and/or compression from the depth of water. Google Earth looked to have the best image quality, link ...

St Leonards Pier - Calamari 10/3/2023 & 11/3/22023
Hey everyone, Sharing quick post on the calamari land-based at St Leonards Pier. The past few months have proved incredibly challenging chasing the calamari with very limited numbers and inconsistency of the calamari being caught. Spoken with a few mates who are in the marine bio space & Parks Vic w...

Patterson river fishing report
Well it's certainly been a hot minute since posting on here but I managed a cracking estuary perch today and had to share. I was fishing Patterson river near the mouth with very little luck, as dusk hit I could see something hitting the surface and tied on a little surface lure. A couple of casts in...
