I agree in the last month i have seen more snapper caught land based than i have seen years,including the one i caught the other day on salted blue bait from mario's baits in Geelong.

Good to see something different on this forum,my parent's make their own as well and also make olive oil every year. I might put a photo up of his orchard ,as they have 20 plus olive tree's in just a normal suburban property.

Snapper to Salmon , two totally different species. Ban all fishing competitions i am sick of seeing the waste. Go to Port Melbourne beach a few days after Tea Tree Snapper competitions and you will see why i hate fishing competitions. Catch 3 snapper 60cm,and then you catch 2 more 80cm and then 90cm...
