I find especially with run off the mill cod lures, second hand markets like facebook and gumtree are a great way of picking up bulk packages for cheap :thumbsup:
I think i bought 25 lures for 300$ once.

im 19 y/o and i absolutely love reading fishing mags and books. i find that reading the tips and tricks sections helps me remember them more than say a youtube vid Welcome Carrottt :thumbsup: My memory works that way too (when it works at all, that is :( ) if I read it, it sticks better Cheers, Bug...

mate if bait fishing grab the 12ft ugly stik from anaconda that bowl pointed out fantastic price ($50)and with the other $100 you should be able to find a good reel and line to match the rod

decided to pull the trigger on a new rod and reel for spinning the surf. Went with a 9ft diawa seajigger (reduced fromm $299 to $100) and a Diawa tierra 6000.
