Re: Docklands Report
Nice report and a nice session, kept you on your toes. Congrats croe on popping the Trevally Cherry. As far as the Pinkies, they do make good account of themselves. Not sure about there in Vicland, but here in South Oz, we have a simple rule , , , , once the sun goes down the small Pinkies slow but ...

Re: Docklands Report
Well done.
Burley hard there and the breams will come to play. Silver trevally comes in and go often this time of the year. Occasionally salmon and tailor too.

Hi All Since it's nearing winter and the salmon are beginning to show up, I wanted to have a go at fishing from the beach. It looks like heaps of fun, but since I'm in bayside and I don't have my own car yet getting to an ideal place like Gunnamatta or Venus bay is pretty much off the table unfortu...

Re: Beach fishing around PPB?
A lot of the good beaches I know are much further. I just got back from Venus bay and we did alright with a mixed bag of salmons, mullet and a nice size tailor as well. I highly recommend it if you can get the chance to go down there. Around locally I have done alright from the beach at black rock. ...

Re: Info needed on fly fishing
Hey, yes those are woolly buggers. They are all wet flies. Cast out as far as your can wait few seconds to sink then retrieve. Can be strip and pause, can be slow constant retrieve. If you're going in Nov Dec, have some elk hair caddis dry fly. During the day, I like nymph-ing in rivers. Get some br...

Re: Healesville
There's little ornamental lake in Marysville that's stocked with trouts. Not too far from Healesville.
There's always breams in Docklands and can be caught all year round.
Not sure what's biting in st kilda. By luck there's probably aussie salmons.
