It wasn’t too busy so we were spoilt for choice for a place to camp, once we were set up we wasted no time getting into the action, d...

Frankston Snapper
Headed out from Frankston with dad last Wednesday for the first snapper session of the year. It was a pretty short after school session so we made no hesitation heading straight toward to the snapper grounds. After about 20 minutes we sounded up a solid arch so decided to drop anchor, 5 minutes late...

Re: Eildon trout
Thanks Adrian, definitely learned my lesson with the dog. I will have to give your method a try as trolling spinners has proven to be quite effective.

Re: Chasing wild trout in the upper Mersey.
Great video! Very informative and some absolutely perfect looking trout. Do you reckon the rainbows fight harder than the browns?

Re: Chasing wild trout in the upper Mersey.
Hi fortula, I primarily use mepps spinners and buy them from anaconda, BCF have them too but they are a bit more expensive. I believe there is also a wider range online to choose from though.fortula999 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 9:44 pmThanks for the report, any idea where I can get the spinners you use in Vic?
