How would it recharge itself whilst running? Using a dynamo I'm not sure the laws of thermodynamics work the way you thin...

Sounder is the 200/85/400/800 kHz unit. Why? $$ in small boats Lowrance is better bang for the buck. Shal...

Also you can get kingfish in the lake when the water warms up. Highway bridge is a known spot along with the jetties in C...

Re: Parking the boat at jetty is !!@&%#!!

First of all find the side of the jetty the wind is blowing to if you can and attempt that side. Gives more room for error if you muck it up Cos the wind will blow you in Approach at like a 30 degree angle. Motor in gear but not too fast. Nose right in towards the jetty and a couple of metres out k...

Re: Boat capsized off Mornington 17/11/19

Boating on your own is considered high risk and he needed his pdf on at all times if he was on his own. I hope he gets a good fine for that.. Reminds me of a guy I seen at the ramp one day. Wore his lifejacket then proceeded to wear his puffer jacket over the pdf. I stopped him and asked him how the...

Altona 30/11/2019

After much deliberation I decided to head out yesterday afternoon. I got to my spot at precisely 4.10pm in 12m of water, burleyed hard and set the rods. About 20 minutes later I landed this beautiful fish which came in at 5.2kg. In 6 days thats the third fish I've caught in that range so I'm not goi...
