Black Rock 3/12
Fished for squid from black rock pier from around 6:30 pm to 9 pm, missing the high tide and fishing the outgoing... No luck today... did see one squid swim passed until someone jumped in the water and scared it off, big salmon was also seen swimming past the pier. So definitely fish out there, just...

Black rock snapper hunt 9/12
Got to black rock around 4 pm, high tide at sunset at 8:40 pm went left of the pier 100m down onto some rocks where there was a deep hole Fished that area for 3 hours for nothing, a couple of bites here and there but ultimately kept getting snagged and lost about 3 rigs. Mt Martha Squid Report 12/12
First of all, WE GOT ONTO SOME SQUID! Fished Mt Martha for around an hour from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, landing 2 medium size squid. And Fished the same area from around 4 pm to 6 pm and landed 2 smaller squids. All squid were caught on the outgoing tide, there was no wind and the water was the clearest...

Don't have too much advice but when I went up a year or two ago caught heaps of pinkies and tailor throwing plastics around the estuary. Good luck mate its a nice place

Just a quick report from the trip I made, ended up fishing off duttons way beach at night and did well catching 2 salmon at around 60cm and 2 and a half kilos each, heaps of pinkies as soon as the baits in the water but none were size as there were strong winds that would have been pushing the bigge...
