Awesome, the site needed something like this. Now if we could have a ranking system which ranks members according to how many "likes" they get instead of post count, the quality of the forum would rise sharply I think.

I've built a few, usually out of a plywood sheet and nails/screws to hold the tools. Keep it simple - don't arrange it for tools you may or may not have in the future, just arrange it for the stuff you have now. Hmmm on the Squidnation website it says they are for use when targeting Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Dolphin and Wahoo.

I wonder what kind of rod I should use if I want to target dolphin?

Anyone else use it on calamari? Good sh it I use this on calamari. Just put some in a plastic container, throw the squid rings in and shake the hell out of it until the rings are coated then fry them, squeeze some lemon juice over them and dip them in tartare sauce. It's the quickest and most effic...

I've caught plenty of squid on cheap Gillies and Mojiko jigs - when the squid are hungry they will smash them just as quick as anything else. They don't last as long as good quality jigs though, and the sink rate can be inconsistent so if the squid are being fussy they will catch less than decent ji...

I've been caught out too with salmon showing up and me just with squid jigs. Now I always keep a metal lure in my jig case.
