This is what I do Trim back the two broken ends to remove all the splintered bits and lightly sand with around 120 grit Using ab old hollow fibreglass rod i cut a piece out to suit the size of the broken one to go over it not inside as it will just open up Then use araldite to glue together Have fix...

I didnt take exact coordinates but i can pm u where i started and looked around,others fishing in the general area did well also
