Last weekend of trout in the rivers

Got up to Goulburn River for the last weekend of trout season.
Enjoyed some time catching releasing browns and rainbows.
The video here will give you an idea of the clarity of the river.

Re: smelly hands

Train to be a gynaecologist instead, fishy fingers probably come with the territory there.

Re: smelly hands

If your concern is the smell AFTER the fishing session, I spray windex on my hands then wipe them clean with a towel. I read somewhere that you don’t want the ammonia free windex because the ammonia breaks down the “fish slime”. Works for me and costs bugger all Reminds me of a movie :) My Big Fat ...

Somewhere down an urban river

The mystery that surrounds Argyrosomus japonicus makes this arguably the most special fish to swim in our waters. The silver ghost ? Aptly named. Last season i put in some amount of time trying to get myself one. It was a steep learning curve. At times, I even wondered if they actually exist. When t...

A recent trip to the Murray

After the passing of my father recently P1280108.JPG a trip away was needed so along with Brett we headed up the river. We arrived early Friday arvo and quickly threw up a camp, IMG_1022.JPG and cut some fire wood. IMG_1026.JPG It was pretty eerie, no boats sighted on the river all weekend, only one...

If you do face book look up Geelong taxidermy he does a good job. My marlin was done by Scott Mann in batemans bay. Give them a ring they will give you a quote it all depends on weight and length.
So a bucket of toadies would be fairly cheap then? Wouldn't weigh much.

The Asian version is a lot better - insane athletes and less of the typical Australian reality show “sob story” backgrounds
The sob story sh!t has become too much of a cult thing...

Re: Ninya Warrior

Not sure if it's on anywhere, but my mother-in-law used to watch this Chinese show, similar to ninja warrior, but more of a full-on obstacle course than a gym-chimp thing. The great thing was most of the obstacles were pretty hairy and dangerous, but they let anyone attempt it - grannies, younger te...
