Limit alcohol to 3/4 of a slab the day before, hair of the dog before launching, keep fluids up throughout the day, if getting bloated from beers switch to spirits. Been a while since I fished the yarra for them. I used to just use the basic motoroil zman grub on a 1/16oz jighead and slowly hopped it.

Motoroil grubs on lightly weighted jigheads and light leaders.
Casting at pylons and structure
Another effective but expensive options is to do the same but with cranka crabs or strikepro micro vibes...

Patterson River Canals Frank, I went in there once with a tinnie and got hunted, didn,t know enough at the time to argue.
Still not sure if it,s law but we see plenty of reports about big Bream in there.
Must be someone on this forum who can spell it out for us.
