You can get some good books with info from BCF. Rigs, places, tips, all that sort of stuff.

A bit of illegal fishing goes on along the stretch of water between Laanecoorie res and Newbridge in the form of overnight set lines for cod. I've also heard of gill netting of the little Bealiba res for Yellowbelly. Wish they'd catch them.

Re: Cornacarpio's Cumulative Carp Culling Caper
Do you guys eat those horrid stinking carp somehow, perhaps with a peg on your noses, or just dispose of them? There are a heap of them in Cairn Curran. Some seriously big ones too.

Re: FISHING IN LAKE TURKANA
What a fishing trip! That lake, damn, could have said it was the ocean and I would have believed it. Makes our central Vic lakes look like livestock dams. Amazing.

Rovex D8 braid
Hi guys. New here, hi to you all. Did a search here but nothing came up. Was wondering if anyone has used or uses Rovex D8 braid. I usually use Spider Wire stealth or Stren Microfuse but came across the D8 for 20 bucks a spool. Seemed pretty good price for an 8 strand, I think. Anybody know anything...

Re: Gippsland Blackfish
Great looking water! Iv got an old Mitchell that looks almost exactly like that one which I inherited along with the rest of my late father's gear. Still works too. He used to take me fishing as a kid for blackfish and trout in the small streams at Bullengarook (think I spelt that right). That was 4...

Re: G,day from central Vic
Thanks for the welcomes. Was out Cairn Curran way a couple of weeks ago, blue green algae put me off, stunk. Some people were there with their kids swimming and kayaking in it, hmm. Don't like fishing with that stuff around. Gonna have a look at Tullaroop next week when the holidayers go home. Would...

G,day from central Vic
Hi guys. From central Vic, love my redfin and trout fishing though it's pretty slow at the moment. Bit of a heatwave here at present. Anyway, cheers all.
