Re: Newport Warmies
That's the salted mackerel chunks in the bowl that I used as bait. Does seem to work realy well and cheaper than a frozen bag of Pilly at the servo. It's also harder for the smaller fish to steal your bait.

Newport Warmies
Here's my first report in a while, spent a few hrs Friday night at the warmies with the family. First cast and it was pretty much on with a fish every cast, we ended up holding just one rod each and just having a lot of fun on light gear. After 3 hrs we pulled the pin as it got freezing cold but man...

Re: A message to Dan Andrews.
It's been a while since I've posted anything but I do frequent this forum since there's not much else to do with spare time. I understand it's hard for us hardcore fisherman's to go cold turkey but like another member said before, find every strength in ourselves to sit it out. The longer we remove ...

Sam Newman's stunt is only going to speed up and give more momentum to the Social Dissident Movement. He has a point but inflaming the situation with stunts might not be the best course of action. Regards, Bugatti I'm no Sam Newman fan but I did think he was pointing out a fare case - probably quit...

Re: Yabbies tell me somethings in the air
Years ago I was in a pet shop that sold yabbies as pets. They were only small like no bigger than a 5 cents piece, going for $10 each that's right 10 bucks. Believe it or not it was one of the top sellers and they always sold out. I went to a local tackle store and they had same size yabbies going f...

I've been catching my goldfish out of the garden pond, no hooks ofcoarse. Just getting a fix, using old fasion tree branch and bit of 4 LB" line tied to the end. Using garden worms as bait tied to the other end. The buzz last for bout 10 mins but it's a buzz. Can't wait for the ban to lift, I'm runn...
