Re: Is it possible to repair a car tyre

if its on the sidewall kiss it goodbye, most of the time on the bottom tread area it can be fixed they use a patch from the inside of the tyre, its not like a normal patch, you will have to see how its done. you can see which one is better from the videos, expect to pay $20-30 for the dodgy repair ...

Re: Is it possible to repair a car tyre

It will depend on the location of the hole.
If it is in or near the side wall they cant be repaired (legally) but if its in the tread area, this can be repaired with a patch on the inside.

Re: Portland Tuna -What I've Learnt

Out of curiosity, did you try "cubing" for fish?
I did many trips out from Bermagui in late 80's and we had a fair bit of success with this method.

Re: Portland Tuna -What I've Learnt

Many years ago I worked with a fella who worked on a commercial fishing boat and they would pole tuna out of Eden and it would sometimes take two people to lift a fish on board. My first "Game Fishing" trip was on board TruDee IV out of Eden in about 1985/6. We caught and landed a 102kg Yellow Fin ...

Cheers Purple.
Yeah I guessed I wouldn't have much chance till it warms up.
But I just cant find reports of them being caught in the Glenelg.
Would seem odd if they are not in the system, as they live just about everywhere.

Glenelg river fishing

Having a search through the Forum led me to not finding any dedicated reports on the Glenelg river. So I hope to get this one started and fishing reports coming through. I myself will be down that way for 4 weeks from Mid August, but during 2018 shifting house to be local to the river (Donovans Land...

Flathead in Glenelg river?

Hi all.
I will admit to being rather keen on Flatties on the fork.
Is there much chance of catching them in the lower sections of Glenelg river around Nelson?
I don't seem to have much luck finding reports of them being caught here.

Hi all. New member to the page. Bit of my fishing background. Made keen fisherman from a young age, mainly fishing in Port Phillip bay with Dad. Mid to late teenage years (mid to late 80's) I got hooked on game fishing, with many trips out of Eden & Bermagui. Moved to far north Qld in early 90's and...
