Thanks All
I will take all this on board and decide on jig heads shortly.
Fingers crossed over the Easter break I can get out and give them a crack again.

Most I look at always look like the kook is massive, compared to the hooks I would use bait fishing. Location for fishing will o...

Re: Old, handmade spinners
Live from Eildon now, have thrown the spinners a few times but after one near snag decided that keeping them is better than losing them.
They are back in the tackle bag now.

Re: Top 10 metro redfin hotspots ?
Best spots along the Yarra that I have found are - Yarra Glen, Worri Yallock and Millgrove.
I'm sure they are throughout the Yarra but I have been unsuccessful tracking them down anywhere else so far.

My Grandfather worked in the Bendigo ordnance factory during WW2 - the metal spinner blade is actually part of a shell casing - as as the story goes the workers in the ordnance f...

Top 10 metro redfin hotspots ?
After giving the SPs another crack yesterday afternoon on the Yarra....and having many follows from Redfin, just couldn't hook on up, I thought I should keep trying. Figure Redfin weren't a bad target species, however short of a few spots along the Yarra I don't really have any solid leads on metro ...
