Bugger. Water temp was no where near 18 on our sounder temp measurement the other day mid 15's picked up to low 16's late in the day. I wonder if the temp continued to increase with a couple of sunny days or if there is quite an error in different sounders. my sounder was saying 19 on the weekend. ...

i went to port albert on saturday took the wife very quite but still landed some nice flattys all over 50cm interstingly it was brought to my attention just the other day that you cant keep dusky flathead over 55cm any more. myself I either catch 30cm ones, or 70-80cm ones, never in the 40-50cm reg...

got a 73cm flatty on sunday along with half a dozen 45-50cm ones to go with it. was fishing for gummies but these guys kept taking the bait.

no gummies but I was pretty happy with the flathead haul. its (close too) the biggest flathead ive caught
