Saw a few reasonable sized ones, but they were too hard to ambush...

Not a river, lake or creek I haven't pulled one out of yet! The sea is on my 'to do' list!

Finally broke the drought at the noxious aquarium! (Got one of a reasonable size!). And it nearly didn't happen. There was no way I could land it with the butterfly net I had ( and also given that I using the smallest hook known to man), but luckily some Asian guy had just turned up (fishing) and I ...

Oh, and as a side note...Redfin entrails make really good Carp bait :bite:
