Is it worth changing from double Uni to a stronger knot as well? It's just so easy to tie when its windy.

Interesting question. Will have to measure once I get back home. I have a follow on question: do you tie on a short leader or longer leader to get better distance? Just re-read the weather forecast 30km winds thats not too bad. Only 17 knots. That ain't going to prevent me from fishing, just might can the lures.

Looking at fishing either of these 2 places on Saturday arvo/night. Never fished either so any advice will be greatly appreciated. Will probably try for some squid and chuck some plastics around whilst soaking a bait rod.
